Who we are
MyAIHealthTracker ("we," "us," or "the app") is a web-based health and nutrition tracking service available at myaihealthtracker.com. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at hello@myaihealthtracker.com.
Information we collect
We collect the following, and only for the purpose of providing the app to you:
- Account information. Your email address, and sign-in details managed by our login provider. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
- Health and food information you enter. The foods you log (by text, voice, or photo), exercise, weight, water, sleep, goals, dietary notes or allergies you choose to share, and profile details such as height, age, and sex. You control what you enter.
- Food photos. If you use photo logging, the image you take is sent to our AI provider to estimate the food, then used to show your result. Photos are not sold or used for advertising.
- Payment information. When you subscribe, payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number. We keep your subscription status and a customer reference so the app knows you have access.
- Basic technical information. Standard information your browser sends (such as device and browser type) and data saved on your own device to keep your information available offline.
How we use your information
- To provide the core features: estimating nutrition, generating coaching notes and recipes, and syncing your data across your devices.
- To process your subscription, free trial, and cancellations.
- To respond to your support messages.
- To keep the app secure and working properly.
We do not use your personal health information to advertise to you, and we do not sell it to anyone.
The companies that help us run the app
Like most modern apps, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate. They only process your information to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes:
- Login & accounts — securely manages sign-in and passwords.
- Payments (Stripe) — processes subscriptions; handles your card details directly and securely.
- Database & hosting — stores your data and serves the website.
- AI provider (Anthropic) — the food and exercise descriptions and photos you submit are sent to generate your nutrition estimates and coaching. This data is processed to produce your results and is not sold.
- Food databases — we look up nutrition facts against public food data (including the USDA food database and Open Food Facts for barcodes). Looking up a product does not identify you.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and data deleted, just email hello@myaihealthtracker.com and we'll take care of it. Some records (such as payment records) may be retained where required by law.
Your choices and rights
- Access & correction. You can view and edit your information any time inside the app.
- Export. The app includes a shareable text log of your data.
- Deletion. Email us to have your account and data removed.
- Cancel any time. You can cancel your subscription in one tap; you are never locked in.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what's necessary to keep you signed in and to save a backup of your data on your own device so the app works smoothly. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and trusted, industry-standard service providers. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children
MyAIHealthTracker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are under 18, please use the app with a parent or guardian's involvement.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we'll do our best to let you know.
